New people at ICMM

He is an assistant professor in the chemistry department of the Autonomous University of Madrid.

He studied Material engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and afterward he did his Master's in Nanoscience and nanomolecular technology of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM).

He studied for his Physics degree at Valladolid and did a master's degree on High Energy Physics and Cosmology in Barcelona; then he worked on finance for a couple of years and now he is coming back to research

Pedro Luis Alcázar Ruano comes from a little town in Madrid: Velilla de San Antonio. He studied at the Complutense University of Madrid and now he is studying for his PhD at 2D Foundry Group under the supervision of Jorge Quereda Bernabeu. Before this, he has been working on optoelectronic effects on 2D materials.

He is part of both Silvia Gallego's (Simulation and Modeling of Materials Group) and Unai Atxitia's (Nanomagnetism and Magnetization Processes Group) groups, as well as being in the surfaces and nanostructures group in UCM.

She is from Leganés (Madrid). She studied Chemistry at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and then did a master's degree in Applied Chemistry with a specialization in Molecular and Materials Chemistry, at UAM too.
