We are glad to announce the first School on Advanced Structural Analysis in MOFs and COFs. This event will be held in Madrid the 05th-06th of November 2026 at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid.
The School is a two-day training event aimed at PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and scientists interested in advanced methods for the structural analysis of porous framework materials.
The programme will combine lectures on established and emerging techniques, including powder X-ray diffraction, topology analysis, Pair Distribution Function methods, atomic force microscopy and 3D-PDF approaches, with practical perspectives on their application to MOFs and COFs.
In addition to the scientific sessions, flash presentations and a poster session will provide participants the opportunity to present their own research, discuss structural challenges with international experts in the field and establish new collaborations in an informal and interactive environment. Prizes will be awarded for the best flash presentation and the best poster.
This event is free of charge previous registration (coffee breaks included)
