La USCT está en proceso para la implementación de un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad certificado según la Norma ISO 9001. Para ello ha creado un Comité de Calidad formado por:
• M. Carmen García: Coordinadora de Calidad de la USCT y Técnica del Servicio Análisis Químico y Térmico
• Fátima Esteban: Técnica del Servicio Difracción de Rayos X y Coordinadora de la USCT
• Elena López: Técnica del Servicio Caracterización Textural y Coordinadora de la USCT
• Eva Céspedes: Tecnóloga, Servicio Magnetometría SQUID y Coordinadora de la USCT
• Carolina Chaparro: Técnica del Servicio Análisis Químico y Térmico
• Virginia Díez: Técnica del Servicio de RMN de Sólidos
• Pilar Aranda: Vicedirectora del ICMM
Las funciones del Comité de Calidad son:
• Elaborar la documentación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad (SGC) y hacer el seguimiento de dicha documentación.
• Realizar propuestas de mejora y hacer un seguimiento de las mismas.
• Proponer y revisar la Política de Calidad y los Objetivos Generales del SGC.
• Realizar un seguimiento de la eficacia de los procedimientos a través de indicadores y evidencias asociadas a los mismos.
• Controlar la ejecución de acciones correctivas y/o preventivas, de las actuaciones derivadas de la revisión del sistema, de las acciones de respuesta a las sugerencias, quejas y reclamaciones.
• Gestionar el seguimiento y la renovación periódica de la certificación

The functions of the USCT Quality Committee are:
· Prepare the documentation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and oversee its progress.
· Identifying improvements and tracking their implementation.
· Proposing and reviewing the Quality Policy and the General Objectives of the QMS.
· Monitoring the effectiveness of procedures through indicators and associated evidence.
· Overseeing the execution of corrective and/or preventive actions, actions derived from system review, and responses to suggestions, complaints, and claims.
· Managing the follow-up and periodic renewal of the certification.
