ICMM Synchrotron Radiation School

What is a Synchrotron? What techniques can be found in this facility? How are they used?

The ICMM Synchrotron Radiation School organized by ICMM-CSIC in collaboration with the Spline beamline at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble (France) is an initiative that will give a general overview of the characteristics and potential of synchrotron radiation to ICMM Ph.D. students and young researchers interested in its use.

The School includes lectures by scientists with long-standing experience in the use of synchrotron radiation on specific topics and techniques and practical classes on each experimental technique currently available in the Spline beamline (BM25). Detailed info and agenda are here.

Participants are limited to 6 and will be granted (course, trip, and stage at ESRF) by the ICMM. To apply click on the link below and fill out this form.

• Resolution announcement:  7th May
• Seminar at ICMM: 14th and 21st May (10:30-13:00)
• Synchrotron School at ESRF: 2nd-6th September
