The Madrid Institute of Material Sciences launches a 2-year Mentoring Program. This activity aims to provide support to interested PhD researchers at the ICMM with non-scientific matters, through training in various aspects related to their professional growth, proper integration into the work environment, well-being, and professional future.
Mentees: Predoctoral contracts funded by Severo Ochoa (2nd and 3rd year) & any other predoc who likes to join (are you interested? write to @email )
THE GROUP MENTORING CONSISTS in 3 activities per semester (each with an attendance certificate): Activities designed for PhD students and, whenever possible, agreed with them & Activities open for all PhD students (even those who do not wish to enroll in the programme). After each activity, the mentees will have a brief meeting with the mentor responsible of the activity and, if required any mentee can ask for an individual meeting with any mentor
ACTIVITIES: 1 h talks by a specialist, courses (organized and financed by the ICMM), free on-line courses & meetings with mentors
MENTORS: Members of the ICMM Training and Seminars Commission and other commissions involved.
