News at ICMM

The Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) is searching for 10 individuals interested in completing their doctoral thesis at our center. The contracts are part of the Doctors Training Programme of the Spanish Research Agency. More specifically, “proyectos susceptibles de ayudas para contratos predoctorales 2022 Severo Ochoa y María de Maeztu”, in its 2022 call.

The young researcher defended her thesis last November at the Faculty of Sciences of Monastir (Tunisia). One of her co-supervisors was Berta Gomez-Lor, from ICMM.

He is member of the 2D Foundry group at ICMM. The scientist has received two prestigious awards this year.

Almost by chance, the researcher has become involved in an exciting project that takes him to the southernmost point of the planet.
