New people at ICMM

Thiago de Lourenco e Vasconcelos is a brazilian researcher born in Belo Horizonte who for the past decade has been living in Rio de Janeiro. He now joins 2D Foundry group at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid as a new postdoc. He answers some questions about his past and future work.

Alvaro Rodriguez is starting an MSCA PF project at 2D Foundry Group. The project aims to develop tools to control the mechanical strain in moiré heterostructures and implement such systems in optoelectronic devices.

I graduated in Physics in 2012 from the University of the Basque Country. During my master studies in 2013, she worked at the Material Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) on ceramic materials with ferroelectric properties.
