Borna Radatović, new researcher at 2D Foundry

Borna Radatović is a Croatian researcher from Zagreb that just joined 2D Foundry group on June, 2023. He has been working on Optoelectronic devices based on layered 2D materials, and now he is explaining his project alongside Andres Castellanos-Gomez.

What will you work on? With whom?

I will work as a part of a 2D Foundry group on an ERC project “Tunable optoelectronic devices by strain engineering of 2D semiconductors” led by dr.sc. Andres Castellanos Gomez

Why did you chose ICMM?
In my opinion, the group I have joined is one of the best ones in the field of flexible electronics and in addition, the weather is nice in Madrid.

And a personal touch: any hobbies? What would you like to contribute to the institute?
In my spare time, I play American Football and work in floriculture. I would like to contribute to the Institute my enthusiasm for bringing novel scientific discoveries closer to the industry and the real-life applications.
