He comes from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.

She studied Materials Engineering at the UCM where then she also got a Master's degree in Nanophysics and Advanced Materials.

The Photonic Crystals Group has a new PhD researcher: Jaime Bueno Benito is going to work alongside Sol Carretero Palacios, who will supervise his research in the field of Advanced Materials, Nanotechnology and Photonics.
