New people at ICMM

  1. Jazmin Melissa Mayta Milla starts her PhD at the Energy Conversion, Harvesting and Storage Group

    JAZMIN MELISSA
    Her name is Jazmin Melissa Mayta Milla and she just started her PhD work on all-solid-state batteries (ASSB) at the Energy Conversion, Harvesting and Storage Group at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid. She is from Peru and got her degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
  2. Juliana Eusse joins our Administrative Services

    She is working alongside Daniel López in the procurement office.
  3. Rochdi El Arnouki Akhrij joins ICMM with a research contract

    ROCHDI EL ARNOUK
    "I was born in Alhucemas, Marruecos, but I moved to Spain when I was seven years old. Since I was a child I was attracted by science and, before starting Chemistry, I considered Physics or Engineering", he says.
  4. Celia Herrera joins ESISNA as a new research assistant with the Stardust equipment

    She has just finished he bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM)
  5. Rafael Luque joins 2D Foundry as a new postdoctoral researcher

    REFAEL LUQUE
    He comes from LMU Munich and ICFO in Barcelona: he completed his PhD between these two institutions, receiving his PhD in Photonics from ICFO with the international doctorate mention.
  6. Abby Teitgen starts her postdoctoral stay with Eduardo Hernández thanks to the ALLIES program

    ABIGAIL TEITGEN
    Her project is a collaboration between two CSIC institutes, ICMM and CIB Margarita Salas, so she will be working with both Eduardo Hernandez at the ICMM and Nuria Campillo at the CIB. "The overall aim of my project is to utilize artificial intelligence for drug development and materials science applications", she says.
