Lucrecia Terán joins ICMM's Administrative Services

Lucrecia Terán is an Argentinian researcher who is joining our administrative services to work in project management and justification. She is a Biotechnologist and PhD in Biological Sciences from National University of Tucumán. She algo performed a postdoc at CONICET in Argentina and continued her research at the University of Trieste, Italy.  

What have you worked on so far?

I have worked in genomics and proteomics of bacteria mainly with lactic acid bacteria for biotechnological applications in food matrices and also with the characterization of pathogenic bacteria of clinical importance.

What will you work on? With whom?

I will be working in Administration in the justification of projects with Beatriz Horcajuelo. I am very interested in the administration and management of scientific projects and I am happy to face this new challenge.

Why Did you choose ICMM? 

ICMM is a leading scientific institution in material science and will continue moving forward. It has great perspectives for developing as a professional.

And a personal touch: any hobbies? What would you like to contribute to the institute?

I like going for walks, reading, and spending time with my favorite people, my husband, and my son. I would like to cooperate with the administrative workload, and to facilitate the researchers in the development of their projects from the administrative counter side.
