Women's Day has been commemorated in a special way this year, with an intergenerational meeting of women and science and the delivery of the latest initiative of the Equality Commission.

  5. The ICMM-CSIC leads a revolutionary European project to repair spinal cord injury with nanotechnology

The Piezo4Spine project is endowed with 3.5 million euros. It will be coordinated by ICMM researcher Conchi Serrano, who has been working closely with the National Hospital for Paraplegics since 2017.
  6. Psychiatrist Marta Carmona will talk about mental health at Colloquia cycle at ICMM

Marta Carmona, psiquiatra con máster en Estudios Feministas, se une a la lista de expertos y expertas que pasan por el ciclo Colloquia organizado por el Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM), CSIC.

  7. The Materials for Medicine and Biotechnology group grows with new members

Ana Espinosa, María Salvador, Esther Benayas, Marta Toldos, Julia Martínez y Belén Corrales just joined the group lead by Puerto Morales.

  8. Manuel Vázquez, ICMM-CSIC researcher, honored as Distinguished Lecturer bythe IEEE Magnetics Society 2023

The research professor will give his talk 'Cylindrical Micro- and Nanowires: From Curvature Effects on Magnetization to Sensing Applications' at the most relevant scientific and technical magnetic research centers.

  9. ICMM receives a visit from its International Scientific Advisory Board to assess the evolution of its research work

Composed by prestigious scientists in Materials Sciences, its objective is to evaluate the center to certify the excellence in the research carried out here and contribute to its improvement.
