Leo Rosado Godon is a new Research Asistant at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC), where he is working at the photonic crystal group.
What have you worked on so far?
I did my undergraduate thesis on multijunction perovskite solar cells at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Then I did my master’s thesis at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the ICMM about the effects of photon recycling on perovskite light emitting diodes. Both supervised by Sol Carretero Palacios and Miguel Anaya Martín.
What will you work on? With whom?
I will be working on numerical simulations of the effects of photon recycling on perovskite-based devices such as solar cells or light emitting diodes, with Sol Carretero Palacios and Jaime Bueno Benito.
Why did you choose ICMM?
Because it is a very prestigious institute and because I liked the atmosphere when I did my master’s thesis (always organizing events and activities science related or not).
And a personal touch: any hobbies? What would you like to contribute to the institute?
I like sports such as football and climbing. I would like to publish a paper about our research and contribute to the knowledge of the field.
