New people at ICMM

  1. Ruoqian Xu joins the ICMM-CSIC as a new PhD researcher

    RUOQUIAN XU
She is now working alongside with Gloria Platero and her team at the Novel Platforms and Nano-devices for Quantum Simulation and Computation Group.
  2. Jorge Burgos Rodríguez, new member of Adaptation project with Pedro David García and Cefe López

    Jorge Burgos Rodríguez
He is a postdoctoral researcher working on establishing radiation cooling power measurement systems, fabrication of composite materials with radiation cooling properties, as well as the study of the optical response of these materials in VIS and IR spectrum and their cooling power under different conditions
  3. Yogendra Kumar, new PhD researcher at the Nanomagentism and Magnetization Processes group

    YOGENDRA KUMAR
His thesis topic is 'New magnetic textures in planar and three-dimensional curvilinear nanostructures', and his directors are Oksana Fesenko Morozova and Rafael Pérez del Real.
  4. Asterios Charisiadis, postdoctoral researcher in the Bioinspired Materials team

    Asterios
He is a greek postdoctoral researcher who is working alongside Dooshaye Moonshiram in the Bioinspired Materials team at the Material Science Institute of Madrid.
  5. Xi Chen, new senior researcher at the Novel Platforms and Nano-Devices for Quantum Simulation and Computation group

Xi Chen, new senior researcher at the Novel Platforms and Nano-Devices for Quantum Simulation and Computation group
He has worked on various aspects of mesoscopic physics and quantum control: "My early research included discovering significant electron-optical phenomena such as Bragg-like reflection, zero-average wave number gap, and electron waveguide in graphene".
  6. Maryam Hosseinpour, new researcher at the Photonic Crystal Group

    MARYAM HOSSEINPOAR
Maryam Hosseinpour is an Iranian researcher who just joined the Photonic Crystal Group as a research assistant. "I have a contract to determine the nature of ultra-thin layer MoS2 deposits", she explains.
