    A collaboration with the participation of the Material Sciences Institute of Madrid (ICMM), CSIC, has studied the behavior of diamonds irradiated with boron ions and their possible applications.

    Coskum met Isabel Sobrados and Manuel Amarilla, from the Energy Conversion, Harvesting and Storage Group; Miguel Angel Camblor and Javier Pérez Carvajal, from the Nanostructured Hybrid, Biohybrid and Porous Materials Group; and Eva M. Maya, Marta Iglesias, Berta Gómez-Lor and Felipe Gándara, from the Multifuncional and Supramolecular Materials group.

    The researcher gave a lecture entitled 'Porous Materials for Energy and Environmental Applications' and met some of the scientist groups at ICMM.

    The paleontologist Ignacio Martínez Mendizábal joins the ICMM Colloquia Cycle with the talk 'Svante Pääbo, a revolutionary of Human Evolution'

    The researcher, a professor at the University of Alcalá de Henares, will talk about the work of Svante Pääbo, Nobel Prize in Medicine 2022.

     The study, conducted by scientists from the CSIC, lays the foundation for understanding the mechanisms of certain unconventional superconducting materials.

    A study involving ICMM-CSIC demonstrates a system with great potential for new quantum computer prototypes. It is the first time that these hybrid qubits have been demonstrated in a controlled manner using a quantum dot system.

     A study with the participation of ICMM shows that "bubbles" of grains of dust and molecular gas are formed in the atmosphere of this carbon star depending on their direction.
