Rocio Cortes, Associate Editor of Physical Review Letters (PRL) will share an insider's view of PRL and describe her own journey from being a PRL author and PhD student in Madrid, to being a full-time editor.

Short bio:
Rocio Cortes is an Associate Editor of Physical Review Letters (PRL), American Physical Society, USA. Rocio received her Ph.D. in physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Prior to joining PRL in 2014, she was a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Functional Nanomaterials at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Rocio has also worked at the Ultrafast Surface Dynamics Research Group at Freie Universität Berlin and at the Fritz-Haber Institute of the Max-Planck Society, Germany where she was awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship.
