New people at ICMM

She has just finished he bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM)

He comes from LMU Munich and ICFO in Barcelona: he completed his PhD between these two institutions, receiving his PhD in Photonics from ICFO with the international doctorate mention.

Her project is a collaboration between two CSIC institutes, ICMM and CIB Margarita Salas, so she will be working with both Eduardo Hernandez at the ICMM and Nuria Campillo at the CIB. "The overall aim of my project is to utilize artificial intelligence for drug development and materials science applications", she says.

She comes from Cambridge (UK) where she has been working at the University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral researcher and also affiliated to St John's College as College Research Associate.

He will continue developing novel applications of deep eutectic solvents (DES) for the recycling and recovery of materials from various types of lithium-ion battery cathodes, not limited to LFP.
