New people at ICMM

New scientist at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid. Miguel Muñoz just joined 2dFoundry and will work with Carmen Munuera and Andrés Castellanos. He is from Murcia (Spain) and has previously worked at the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology. We asked him to present himself. Here you have his short bio: 

Rem Elnahas is an italian researcher studying her PhD at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands. She just joined the 2D Foundry Group at the Material Science Institute of Madrid for a one-year doctoral stay. Read here more about her.

Paula García, a chemist from the University of the Basque Country, has just joined the Bioinspired Materials group to work on the project 'Coordination of Fe-based electrolytes with co-solvents for the development of high-performance and long-lasting Fe flow batteries.' Here's how she describes herself:

Thiago de Lourenco e Vasconcelos is a brazilian researcher born in Belo Horizonte who for the past decade has been living in Rio de Janeiro. He now joins 2D Foundry group at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid as a new postdoc. He answers some questions about his past and future work.

Alvaro Rodriguez is starting an MSCA PF project at 2D Foundry Group. The project aims to develop tools to control the mechanical strain in moiré heterostructures and implement such systems in optoelectronic devices.

New fellow in the Bioinspired Materials group. The chemist Manuel Cerro joins as a predoctoral student and here he introduces himself:
