New people at ICMM

Alejandro Lasso Castillo, a new member of the Quantum materials for Quantum Technologies group

He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, followed by an international Master’s program across multiple universities: Rome La Sapienza, the University of Porto, and the University Paris-Saclay

Daniel Sevilla joins our Administrative Services

He comes from Móstoles and will work alongside Pilar Algar in travel management.

Jorge Alejandro López, new predoctoral researcher at the Nanomagnetism and Magnetization Processes

"I believe this is a great opportunity to start working due to its positive work environment, the possibility of collaborating with different groups, and attending events where I can continue learning", he says.

Ángel Giménez Mascarell joins the Photonic Crystal Group as a new PhD researcher

He graduated in physics from the Complutense University of Madrid, where he also earned a master's degree in Nanoscience and advanced materials.

Óscar Mateos, new PhD researcher at the Surface Science and Materials Nanocharacterization group

He is working with Guilherme Vilhena to continue studying confined liquids with Molecular Dynamics: "We wish to expand our knowledge of water properties under confinement"

Andrea Ferreras, a researcher at MamBIO group thanks to the Nanomedine Hub

She studied her degree in Universidad Carlos III, but she is from Asturias
