Paula García, a chemist from the University of the Basque Country, has just joined the Bioinspired Materials group to work on the project 'Coordination of Fe-based electrolytes with co-solvents for the development of high-performance and long-lasting Fe flow batteries.' Here's how she describes herself:
My name is Paula García, and I graduated in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2021. In 2022, I pursued a Master's degree in Electrochemistry, Science, and Technology at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), and I conducted my Master's thesis in the Department of Applied Physical Chemistry. The research focused on the development of manganese oxide catalysts for static and flow Al-air batteries. After that, I worked as an intern at Exide Technologies in the R&D department for 9 months. Now, I'm joining ICMM as a predoctoral researcher in the Bioinspired Materials group, with a contract associated with the project: "Coordination of Fe-based electrolytes with co-solvents for the development of high-performance and long-lasting Fe flow batteries."
On a more personal note, my hobbies include sports, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.
