The ICMM Participates in a Pilot Monitoring Session for Predoctoral Grants from the State Research Agency

The Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC), part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), has participated in a pilot monitoring session for the 2021 call for grants under the Training of Research Personnel (FPI) program, promoted by the State Research Agency (AEI) in the field of materials science and technology (MAT). These grants support the completion of doctoral theses linked to research projects by funding employment contracts under the predoctoral contract modality.  

The session, organized by the Subdivision of Scientific-Technical Thematic Programs of the State Research Agency, took place at our center on Tuesday, April 29. "The purpose of these sessions is to assess the progress and impact of predoctoral grants," explains Ana María Lancha, head of the area at the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities.  

The event brought together predoctoral researchers, principal investigators of the projects associated with the predoctoral grants, and scientific collaborators.
