Marta Martín joins the IT department at the ICMM

Marta Martín Losada comes from A Coruña and she has joined recently the ICMM but she is not a newcomer at the campus. Before the ICMM, she worked at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry (ICP), our neighbouring CSIC institute (one of them).

What will you work on? With whom? 

I will be working with Pablo in IT (Information Technology) department.

Why ICMM?

I am preparing for an exam so that I can work in the IT department in the public sector. After my experience in the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry, I want to continue improving and expanding my experience in this sector. I’m sure that ICMM will give me the experience I need to keep improving as a computer scientist and that I’ll have the chance to learn new things.

And a personal touch: any hobbies?

I like travelling, theather and football.

What would you like to contribute to the institute? 

I hope to be able to help my colleague Pablo with all the IT tasks at the centre and improve the IT service for all users.
