The ICMM-CSIC Hosts Atomic Force Microscopy Experts Throughout the Week

'Structured materials for photonic and phononic application' is the title of the thesis of Pedro Moronta, who will defend his work next June, 6 at the Facultad de Ciencias. Moronta has been working at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) under the supervision of Cefe López, head of the Photonic Crystals Group.

She will be defending the work she carried out during last years next Friday, May, 30. The title of her thesis is "Controlled incorporation of diverse metal elements into reticular materials: From multimetal MOF synthesis to derived ensembles",

The Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities has invested nearly two million euros in this new experimental station. This line has been operational since 2005 and is managed by the CSIC through the Madrid Institute of Materials Science.
