What have you worked on so far?
For the first year of my PhD (which I’m doing at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands) I worked on scaling-up the Chemical Vapor deposition (CVD) process for TMDs.
What will you work on? With whom?
I will work on the thermal characterization of TMDs heterostructures with my supervisor Dr. Miguel Muñoz Rojo, in Collaboration with Dr. Carmen Munuera and Dr. Andrés Castellanos Gómez.
Why ICMM?
I’m a Guest PhD student for one year at ICMM since I will be collaborating with the aforementioned researchers of the institute.
And a personal touch: any hobbies? What would you like to contribute to the institute?
I like playing board games, painting or taking outdoor trips in my free time. I would like to participate to collective ICMM activities and events, whenever they’re organized.
