New fellow in the Bioinspired Materials group. The chemist Manuel Cerro joins as a predoctoral student and here he introduces himself:

Manuel CerroMy name is Manuel Cerro Carracedo, and I graduated in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 2021. In 2022, I completed the Master's degree in Chemical Science and Technology, specializing in Nanoscience and Nanomaterials, also at UCM. My Master's thesis involved the synthesis and characterization of thermoelectric materials in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of UCM. After completing my degree, I was able to enjoy a scholarship at the Office of Research Results Transfer (OTRI) at the Complutense University of Madrid. Since January 2023, I have been working as a predoctoral researcher in the Bioinspired Materials group at ICMM, with a contract associated with the following project: "Supercapacitors and the Electrolyte/Electrode Interface: Correlation between the molecular structure of partially saturated electrolytes and energy storage."

Personally, I really like sports, traveling and spending time with my friends and family; and especially chemistry.
