  1. 21 ICMM-CSIC researchers, named in Stanford University's annual lists of the world's most influential scientists

    The list is prepared by evaluating the records of more than 8 million active scientists around the world.

    The ICMM-CSIC researcher spent an hour and a half with inmates from Soto del Real, with whom he practiced several scientific experiments related to piezoelectric materials.

    The young researcher works alongside Puerto Morales, his PhD director.

    The young researcher conducted his work on Majorana oscillations: "I prefer to always place myself on the frontier of knowledge," he says.

    Entitled 'Uniaxial strain engineering based on TMDs and 2D anisotropic materials' and directed by Andrés Castellanos-Gomez and Mar García Hernández, the thesis "mainly focuses on the strain engineering based on 2D anisotropic materials", explains the research.
