Pablo Estévez Alonso, PhD researcher on Bioinspired materials

Pablo Estévez Alonso is from Tenerife, Canary Islands and now is joining the ICMM as a PHD researcher on bioinspired materials. Previously, he has been a collaborator researcher in Condensed Matter Physics and a technician in Experimental Optics.

What will you work on? With whom?

Deciphering the Energetic and Atomic Requirements of Earth-Abundat Proton Reduction Catalysts for Artificial Photosynthesis with Drs. Doooshaye Moonshiram and Dr. Antonio Picón Álvarez and my workmates

Why did you choose ICMM?

Because of the opportunity has been brought me to study how the Nature can provide us different impressive phenomena depending on how such smallest things like the atoms could be assembled.

And a personal touch: any hobbies? What would you like to contribute to the institute?

I have just started to practice calisthenia and I usually visit on weekends new different places in Madrid, I like to be surprised by this city ;).
