Krittachai Vejchakul is a PhD researcher visiting the ICMM

Krittachai Vejchakul (known as Focus) is a Thai researcher who is visiting the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) at the Nanostructured Hybrid, Biohybrid and Porous Materials Group, with Pilar Aranda.

What have you worked on so far? 

I graduated in Bachelor of engineering program in Chemical engineering. Now, I am PH.D student with the research field of inorganic nanochemistry and nanoparticle synthesis.

What will you work on? With whom?

I will focus on the development, characterization and study of properties of nanoarchitectured materials (nanocomposites) processed as porous thin layer membranes for application in photocatalysis and others. I will be under supervision of Dr. Pilar Aranda

Why did you choose ICMM?

I am looking for the learning experience and knowledge for the researcher to improve myself and make a good connection with my institute (VISTEC) and ICMM for future opportunities.

And a personal touch: any hobbies? What would you like to contribute to the institute?

I have no particular hobbies. I would like to enjoy any events for my experience. I would like to contribute by conducting research in my field, making more publications and improving good connections between institutes.
