Antonio Santana, new Assistant Researcher at MaMbio

Antonio Santana Otero comes from Cádiz and is joining the Material Science Institute of Madrid and working alongside Puerto Morales at Materials for Medicine and Biotechnology Group. He studied at Universidad de Cádiz and is an athlete willing to apply all his sports skills to science.

I'll work on the synthesis and applications of magnetic materials. With Maria del Puerto Morales

Why did you choose ICMM?

It's an excellent place to enhance my scientific skills, with a supportive environment that fosters advancing my research to the next level.

And a personal touch: any hobbies? What would you like to contribute to the institute?

I am a semi-professional athlete, specializing in shot put, my primary hobby. Additionally, I am involved in Olympic weightlifting. I am interested in contributing to the institute through internal and external collaborations in my research field.
