The Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC), the largest research center in Materials Science of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), is organizing the First Research Conference on Materials Science. Coinciding with World Materials Day (Wednesday, November 6), the ICMM will host, on the morning of Friday, November 8, undergraduate and master's students who want to start exploring the world of research.
The aim is for university students with an interest in scientific research to discover the opportunities that Materials Science provides. It will be a completely free event with limited spots, where students will learn firsthand what and how research is conducted in Materials Science in Spain, as well as the career opportunities in the field.
