The Madrid Institute of Material Science (ICMM-CSIC) launched last November its I edition of its art contest 'Materially Artistic', an opportunity for all ICMM' staff of creating art (drawing, painting, illustration) that shows aspects of life and research at the institute. The submissions received are being used to illustrate ICMM publications (our Christmas card, brochures, reports, etc.).

The jury, composed of the management team and the artist Ángela Cano, has finally decided that the predoctoral researcher Celia Martín-Morales is the winner of the contest thanks to her paint showing all the different research activities carried out at the ICMM. The prize is valued at 1200 euros, which can be used for a training trip.
