Alison Muñoz, new janitor at the ICMM

Alison Muñoz Esquetil is the new janitor at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid. Now she is working and learning with José Luis Martínez, whom she will replace when he retires this year. If you need anything from her, you'll find her in office 072, on the ground floor of building A.

Where are you from?

I'm Spanish with Latin American parents (Ecuador and Colombia), and I live in Madrid, in the Carpetana neighborhood.

Where have you been working before?

I've done a bit of everything: from fast-food chains to cleaning offices and houses. In my last job, I worked as a data recorder at the Madrid Employment Agency, in Puerta de Toledo.

And a personal touch: any hobbies?

I really enjoy taking walks with my family and savoring good weather. I also love skating, although I don't always have time for it... I believe I can contribute a lot to the institute with my work, daily assistance, and anything else that might be needed.
