Arroyo Gascon, Olga

I am a PhD student in the Theory of Quantum Materials and Solid State Quantum Technologies group. I am interested in the interplay between group theory, topology and physics, as well as field theory and first-principles quantum simulations. In my PhD, I am working on theoretical models and computational approaches to low-dimensional Dirac systems and symmetry-protected topological phases of matter. Our research lines are specially useful in the growing fields of nanoelectronics, spintronics and quantum information.
