In our home laboratory we have three Ultra High Vacuum systems working at a pressure in the 10-10 mbar range equipped with different surface characterization techniques. The system includes a quantitative low energy electron diffraction optics. (LEED I-V), a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) and a Auger electron energy analyser (CMA).
OUR STMs: We have two STMs, one of them works at room temperature and the other works at variable Temperature (80-400K). Both systems, from OMICRON, are driven by a NANOTEC electronics.
