Entropic Funk
Music has no effect on research work, but both are born of the same source

and complement each other through the satisfaction they bestow”

Within Experimental Error is a Funky-Jazz-Rhythm’n’Blues band made up of researchers at the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (ICMM), a scientific institute belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (in spanish Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC). The band performed in several events, chiefly at ICMM and at the Central Campus of CSIC, as well as in several private parties. Also of notice is a live performance broadcasted at Cadena SER radio station on July, 19th, 2009. This performance was part of Carrussel de Verano, a show directed and presented by Alberto Granados. The band also perfomed at La Noche de los Investigadores (The Night of Research Scientists), on September 24th, 2010. This event, organized by the local goverment of Madrid, the CSIC, all the public universities of Madrid and some other institutions, was a part of an European concerted event.
