Research interests:
Our group is involved in the theoretical study of low dimensional effects
in solid matter: surfaces, interfaces and nanostructures.
We calculate their structural, electronic and magnetic properties, based
both on ab-initio formalisms and semiempirical models,
with special emphasis on the investigation of materials for spintronics.
