The New Generation in Strongly Correlated Electron Systems, 20-26 June 2010, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain
Scope:
The
workshop will cover a wide range of topics in strongly correlated electron
systems. Among others: high temperature and unconventional
superconductivity, quantum magnetism, quantum phase transitions, non-fermi
liquids and exotic quantum phases, interplay between orbital, spin and
charge degrees of freedom, coexistence and competition between different
electronic phases.
Materials featured include cuprates, pnictides , heavy fermion systems, organic materials, cobaltites, dichalcogenides, ruthenates, manganites, heterostructures between correlated materials, quantum and frustrated magnets, Mott insulators.
