1st International Workshop:
The New Generation in
Strongly Correlated Electron Systems, 20-26 June 2010, Playa Blanca,
Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain
Presentations: Oral and Poster
Oral
presentations can be in the form of a normal talk or a "two-part
talk".
Two-part talks consists of two 30 minutes talks including
questions. The first of the talks will be a general
introduction to an experimental or theoretical technique or to a type of
material or system in which the speaker is an expert. The speaker’s own research
can be presented but in the second talk. Both halves of a two-part talk will be
separated by a coffee break (see program).
Normal
talks are 30 minutes long including questions.
All the presentations especially the introductory first half of
two-part
talks should be addressed to a broad community of experimental and theoretical
researchers working in condensed matter, but no in the specific topic of the
talk. The general character of the talks will facilitate the discussion
at the round table at the end of the day.
About half of the talks (including some of the two-part talks) will
be selected among the contributed abstracts.
Research works can
also be presented as a poster. Each participant not presenting a talk is highly
encouraged to present at least one poster. There will be four poster sessions.
To promote collaborations and scientific exchanges, each attendee can present up
to two works, either in the form of posters, or one talk+one
poster.
There will not be proceedings in this workshop.
