Flights & Arrival:
Lanzarote can be easily reached by plane. Lanzarote
airport is served by 42
different airlines, including several low cost companies. More than 80
flights arrive daily from almost
30 European airports.
Playa Blanca is about 45 km far from the airport in the south of the island. Shuttle connection between the airport and Playa Blanca will be provided by the organization of the Conference at arrival and departure dates. The meeting point at the airport will be in Terminal 1. Notice that if your flight is coming from another airport in Canary Islands you will most probably arrive at Terminal 2.
Participants who travel on different dates can book a shuttle connection, take a taxi, or rent a car to arrive in Playa Blanca. There are several car renting companies at the airport. There is not a direct bus connection between the airport and Playa Blanca.
Playa Blanca has direct boat connection with Corralejos, in the nearby island Fuerteventura. Another way to come is to fly to Fuerteventura, take a shuttle connection to Corralejos and the boat to Playa Blanca.
