Prof. F. Guinea will give one of the Beller Lectures at the March Meeting of the American Physical Society. Beller lectures were established in 1994 for the purpose of bringing distinguished physicists from abroad as invited speakers at APS meetings. March 2011.
January 14, 2010. Nanocomposite displays antibacterial and antifungal properties. Researchers at the ICMM-CSIC have developed a new bottom-up route to fabricate a soda-lime glass powder containing monodispersed copper nanoparticles . This nanostructured powder has proved to be universal biocide with very low toxicity.
