Spray Pyrolysis

Spray pyrolysis is a process in which a solid is obtained by spraying a solution into a series of reactors where the aerosol droplets undergo evaporation of the solvent and solute condensation within the droplet, followed by drying and thermolysis of the precipitated particle at higher temperature. This procedure gives rise to microporous solids, which finally sinter to form dense particles.
