About the Spanish Committee of Crystallography



The Spanish Committee of Crystallography was created in 1949 by the Superior Council of Scientific researches (CSIC) and comprised, as an adhered member, of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), two years after the creation of the IUCr (1947).



Nowadays it depends on the General Subdivision of Programs and International Organisms of the Ministry of Education and Science and is constituted by nine members. They meet at least once a year to evaluate their activity in agreement with their functiones.
